Higher education may be difficult, especially for International students who must leave their homes to pursue their studies abroad. House of students who are native just need to work hard to complete their degree, but international students also need to learn how to navigate different cultures while maintaining their moral principles and coping with the practical, interpersonal, and emotional difficulties, they may face.
This study looked at how international students adjusted to Pakistani culture in order to succeed academically at the higher education level. The results of this study showed how varied cultural personalities, as well as activities, interests, attitudes, knowledge, and preferences, influence international
students’ success in non-native institutions.

The study’s main goal was to investigate how quickly international university students were able to adjust to American culture. A descriptive narrative research design was used for this intentional qualitative study. All international students enrolled in the BS programme at the faculty of social sciences made up the target population. For the study, foreign students were chosen using a straightforward random selection procedure. The data from the international students were gathered using a self-developed questionnaire.

It is advised that the institution’s teachers, management, and students be made aware of the value of cross-cultural adaptability and globalization because these factors open the door to the
recruitment of more international students and provide financial advantages for the school.

Results indicated that although international students’ rates of cultural adaption are slow, they are improving over time.
